Dr. R. Beryl Hunter
Dr. Hunter earned his Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Brigham Young University in 1988, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Oregon Health Sciences University, where he graduated with Honors in 1992. He then completed a six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, earning his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He completed his residency training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1998. Since then, he has been in private practice in Colorado, providing expert care in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Hunter remains actively engaged in professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American ental Society of Anesthesiology, and the American Dental Association. He holds dual licensure in dentistry and medicine in the state of Colorado and maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Additionally, he is a member of the medical staff at Sky Ridge Hospital in Lone Tree, Colorado.
Beyond his professional career, Dr. Hunter is devoted to his family. He and his wife have four children and nine grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing in the Colorado outdoors, spending time in the mountains, and making memories with his loved ones.
